50th The Clumsy Cortege by Department 56 turns a somber procession into a wonderfully clumsy Halloween mishap. Four skeletons gather around a coffin, but their carefully planned cortege has clearly gone awry. With expressive poses and a curious black cat watching nearby, the scene captures the playful dark humor that makes Halloween village displays so much fun.

The weathered brown coffin features carved wood texture, plank details, and spooky cutout shapes across the lid. Ivory skeletons surround it in a variety of surprised poses while a pair of colorful striped legs and black boots peek out from underneath. Scattered autumn leaves, flowers, and textured green ground add seasonal color to the scene. A power cord and adapter are also shown with the piece.
